Envision Hilltop is a long-term community plan facilitated by The City of Columbus’ Department of Neighborhoods with significant input from residents and community stakeholders. It represents a comprehensive approach to improving the quality of life for Hilltop residents.
The planning process took place between May 2018 and November 2019, and the plan was finalized and released in January 2020. Following a temporary pause due to COVID-19, the implementation phase kicked off in 2021, and is being driven by a community-led advisory committee and facilitated by the Department of Neighborhoods.

The advisory committee is comprised of three subcommittees, one for each of the pillars listed above. Hilltop Arts Collective’s board president, Danny Peterson, is chair of the Place subcommittee.
